Tune every instrument to your Sa
SurSadhak's scale (Sa) is shared across every instrument — set it once on the tuner and the tanpura, harmonium, tabla, swar mandal and manjira all follow. Free by ear, or Premium with your microphone.
How it works
- Free: step through scales with up/down controls and fine-tune the pitch offset by ear against the tanpura or harmonium.
- Premium — "Tune by Mic": a full-screen tuner listens to your voice or instrument and shows the detected note and frequency next to your current tuning.
- Flat and sharp adjustment in tenths of a Hz, for the exact pitch a raag or a fellow performer needs.
Free vs Premium
Free: scale selection and by-ear tuning, on every instrument.
Premium: mic-based auto-detect tuning — from $0.99 a month.

Is the tuner free?
Choosing a scale (Sa) and fine-tuning by ear against the tanpura or harmonium is free. Mic-based auto-detect tuning, which listens to your voice or instrument and tells you the exact note and offset, is a Premium feature.
What does mic-based tuning show?
A side-by-side comparison of your instrument's current tuning against what the microphone detects, so you can match your Sa precisely.
Does tuning one instrument tune the others?
Yes — scale is shared across the app, so setting your Sa on the tuner also retunes the tanpura, harmonium, tabla and every other instrument together.
