A musical note in Indian classical music: Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni (often abbreviated S R G M P D N).
The seven swar are the Hindustani equivalent of Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Ti. Re, Ga, Dha and Ni each have a natural and a flat (komal) form; Ma has a natural and a sharp (teevra) form — twelve semitones in total across one octave (saptak).
